Windows Mobile 5
UI Color Scheme Inspector
by Richard 'ZeBoxx' Annema for XDA-Developers.com Forum
In Windows Mobile 5, the User Interface Color Scheme is governed mostly by a single registry setting: the Base Hue value
This Base Hue defines the ting or basic 'color' of the color scheme, like a singole color out of that of a rainbow.
The actual colors used by the color scheme are based on this tint to create new colors by varying the saturation (vividness) and luminance (brightness)
By changing this value in the registry, the Windows Mobile 5 UI Color Scheme can quickly be changed to any matching color scheme you wish.
The Base Hue value is located in:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Color\BaseHue [DWORD]
Move your mouse over the gradient below to alter the color scheme and see the values.
Note: The 'screenshot' is indicatory. Only the color of the selected item is 100% accurate. In addition, keep in mind that your PPC's display will likely not perfectly match that of your computer.
